Novem­ber 1

Mata­mata po­lice are seek­ing a sight­ing of two to four of­fend­ers who se­ri­ously as­saulted two lo­cal youths on Broad­way near Mata­mata Pri­mary School at 1am. One of the of­fend­ers was de­scribed as un­der six foot, stocky build, prob­a­bly Maori or a Pa­cific Is­lan­der. He was wear­ing a blue or white tight top. Po­lice want to hear of any sight­ings. A tourist’s ve­hi­cle was bro­ken into and a GoPro, Oak­leys and a watch were among the items taken.

A fire crew re­sponded to an alarm sound­ing at Mata­mata Col­lege.

Novem­ber 1

A fire crew as­sisted with a med­i­cal call out af­ter a per­son got stuck in a fence. A lady caught her leg be­tween a post and barbed wire while at­tempt­ing to get over a fence while out fish­ing,
