Round 2: This round was interrupted due to rain. Overnight rain had stopped and the day was sunny and windy for the continuation of the Triples. Round 2: Sefton Begovich def. ‘‘Robbie’’ Burns, Winston Hill def. Murray Hooper, John Follows def. Nigel Grondin.Round 3: John Follows def. Winston Hill, Robbie Burns def. The game turned out to be a nail biter. John’s team scored four on the 14th end making them both level on 14 points. His team maintained a lead, leaving Sefton requiring three on the 18th end. Womens 18 Hole LadiesTuesday 10 November was a great day on the golf course for Bev Lamb winning both the scramble and Rotating Partners with a great round of 41 stableford points and 74 points respectively. Runners up in the Rotating Partners by 1 point was Chris MacKenzie and Daphne Lugton. Chris MacKenzie was also runner up in the scramble with 37 pts followed by Elaine Reeve 36pts, Jane Wilson 35pts, Shelley James and Nancy Payze with 34pts.Tuesday 17 November was our Russian Stableford competition with Diane Cluitt our winner out front with 77pts. Tina Berg and Agnes Kim Runners up with 71 pts. In the scramble Pam Gillies was our top performer with 40pts. Pam was closely followed by Agnes Kim 39pts, Dianne O’Reilly 38 pts, Arlene Joe and Meagan Schick both on 37 pts, Mary Brady, Tina Berg and Diane Romley all on 36pts. Chris MacKenzie had a two on the 11th. 9 hole Ladies10 November was our Milly/Molly/Mandy competition. Marie Kernot was our winner, Bev Paton 2nd and Sonia Scott and Joan Locke shared 3rd place.Joan Lock also featured the following week winning our putting competition. Barbara Barnett won the scramble with 20pts and runners up were Joyce Stocker, Marie Kernot and Meg Downs all on 18 points.
