Re­cy­cle free with event in Mata­mata

Ru­ral re­cy­cling is back in Mata­mata with an Agre­cov­ery con­tainer col­lec­tion event to be held in early De­cem­ber. The ru­ral re­cy­clers will be col­lect­ing at Wa­haroa Trans­port Com­pany, 52 Fac­tory Rd next Tues­day.

‘‘The Agre­cov­ery col­lec­tion site at the refuse and re­cy­cling cen­tre had to be shut due to op­er­a­tor changes, but we’ll con­tinue to sup­port re­cy­cling amongst lo­cal farm­ers by hold­ing reg­u­lar col­lec­tion events,’’ lo­cal dairy farmer and Agre­cov­ery Foun­da­tion chair Adri­enne Wil­cock said. The Mata­mata event sup­ple­ments the lo­cal con­tainer col­lec­tion net­work of nine sites in the Waikato. Re­cy­cling with Agre­cov­ery is free.

con­tain­ers must be 0-60 litres in size, free con­tam­i­na­tion in­side and out, and still have the la­bel on to iden­tify the brand. En­sure con­tain­ers are well drained af­ter triple rins­ing.
