Fi­nal fix for Broad­way’s pot­holes

The NZ Trans­port Agency says work to re­pair the road sur­face along Mata­mata’s Broad­way will start in Jan­uary.

The Trans­port Agency, which builds and main­tains the state high­way net­work, has been in­ves­ti­gat­ing a fix for the town’s main street and parts of SH27 (Firth St).

Waikato high­way man­ager Kaye Clark said Broad­way is a com­plex job and it has taken time to in­ves­ti­gate the prob­lems and come up with so­lu­tions that will cause the least dis­rup­tion to the town and busi­ness com­mu­nity.
