Matamata Chronicle - - Your Paper, Your Place -

If my time in Matamata is going to be anything like the past week then I amso excited about this journey that lies ahead!

What an incredible introduction I have already had thanks to the welcoming arms of so many in this town.

This week kicks off my time as the editor of the Matamata Chronicle after spending just under two years with the South Waikato News.

I know Teresa poured her heart and soul into this paper and you can be rest assured I will do the same.

We are different people and will take different approaches but the one thing we have in common is passion.

Like Teresa, I too understand the role that a community newspaper plays in a small but thriving town like Matamata.

I thoroughly look forward to telling your stories whether that means promoting success, exposing the truth or celebrating milestones.

Bring on 2016!
