Matamata Chronicle - - Your Paper, Your Place -

It has actually taken me a couple of days to catch my breath after interviewing Mike Boston. Every time I think about what he has just accomplished or what the crazy man is about to embark on, I actually feel tired!

Some people possess something extraordinary inside of them and Boston is one of them.

I think the fact that he is now training (half a marathon a day) in preparation for his next hike which will be a world-first is proof of that.

He most certainly has crazy company to push him on but isn’t it incredible knowing that our country is speckled with this sort of zest for life?

In a place like Matamata we have a guy, dressed in uniform most days, just itching to test his physical boundaries – in fact to say test is a gross understatement.

He almost enjoys knocking on death’s door and kicking through it! Gasp. What a human! All the best Boston, Matamata is rooting for you.
