Three occupants of a car escaped serious injury after their vehicle rolled near Matamata on Tuesday night.
The single-vehicle crash happened along State Highway 27, near Ngarua, around 9pm.
Waikato Police Senior Sergeant Pete van de Wetering of the Waikato District Command Centre said police, fire and ambulance services attended.
The three occupants of the car escaped serious injury.
‘‘We have been in attendance at a motor vehicle crash involving one vehicle only, which has rolled over.’’
He said the three occupants appeared not to be seriously injured but one had received a knock to the head.
‘‘But they were feet,’’ he said.
Northern Fire Communications shift manager spokesperson said fire services assisted police, and all people were out of the vehicle.
