St John’s win over Matamata
COMAG Matamata College 1st XV travelled to Hamilton on the weekend to play St John’s 1st XV in a semi-final of the WaikatoCounties Premier Competition.
Played in wet and muddy conditions, St John’s size advantage gave them the edge and they ran out comfortable winners in the end.
However, the Matamata boys did themselves proud and they put in a gutsy performance.
