The golf­ing week Fe­bru­ary 11-14 pro­vided a cou­ple of mem­o­rable high­lights, with se­cond year, up and com­ing golfer Lucy Troth get­ting a hole in one on the sixth hole. A very ex­cited Lucy said. ‘‘The ball just took a cou­ple of bounces, hit the flag stick and went in the hole!’’

Also our No.1 lad- golfer Pam Wright shot a one over the card 73 gross off her 5 hand­i­cap. Pam has been play­ing ex­cel­lent golf for some time now.

Best Satur­day com­pe­ti­tion scores for the se­cond round of the Sum­mer Cup (net) Brenda Hull 70, Shee­lah Lamb 70, Pauline Cole­man 70.

Jill Hazel­hurst topped the scram­ble with 40 sta­ble­fords.

Our Tues­day round was played in mis­er­able weather but still pro­vided some great scor­ing and an ex­cel­lent turn out of 23 ladies.

Best Sum­mer Cup net scores: Pam Wright 68, Lucy Troth 68, Ruth Tay­lor 70, Shelly James 71.

Af­ter two (of three rounds) Pam Wright leads the Sum­mer Cup by 2 points (25) over Ruth Tay­lor 23, Pam Gil­lies 20.

Best of the oth­ers in the scram­ble was Lynn Ryan 37 Sta­ble­ford. Shirlie Ryan has a two on No.16. Golfer of the week was Pam Wright on count­back from Lucy Troth. The O’DEL’EMZ voucher went to Lucy Troth.
