Rosie strikes the per­fect bal­ance of just about ev­ery­thing — sharp, friendly wait­staff, a re­laxed buzz in smart sur­rounds and chef Mike de Vries’ menu packs in plenty of whole­some­ness built around good-qual­ity fill­ing pro­teins. Much of the pro­duce used comes from Hip­group’s own farm, and meat is butchered at their Matua Val­ley site, so they of­fer in­ter­est­ing cuts you won’t read­ily find else­where, as well as their own char­cu­terie.
