What did you do for Miss FQ

magazine? I shot the swimwear editorial (page 70) with the beautiful Sakura! Being a millennial means… Being tech-savvy and connected. Summer hotspot? Tawharanui, north of Auckland. Tips for taking the perfect Instagram photo? Make sure the sun is behind you, never in front of you. Favourite place to grab a

bite to eat? Fukuko in Auckland’s Britomart. Advice for young, aspiring fashion photographers? Shoot, shoot, shoot! And

collaborate. You’ve recently been to LA. What do you love most about the City of Angels? Beautiful people, beautiful weather.

What did you do for Miss FQ

magazine? Illustrated images for two features: ‘21st Scent-ury Girl’ (page 96) and ‘Do You Know Why I Hired You?’ (page 84). Being

a millennial means… Forward thinking! We all have this confidence and are daring to be free. Everyone around me is actively pursuing what they love. It’s epic. Summer

reading list? Just Kids by Patti Smith and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Favourite quote? Men’s back muscles let you know that God is real. Girlboss you look up to? My mum, Jeannie, for the number of lives she’s impacted. She also has more talent in her pinky finger than I will in my whole life, and cooks better pad Thai than your local takeaway shop.

magazine? I interviewed six key fashion industry insiders to find out how they got their big breaks (page 38). We say millennials, you

say… We are the most under-acknowledged group of thinkers, leaders and game-changers in the world. Millennials know that you can be comfortable or courageous, but you cannot be both. A young Kiwi talent you have pegged as the next one to watch… Fashion designer Holly Marbeck. Holy-grail beauty product? MAC Strobe Cream. It does for our faces what coffee does for our souls. Next film you plan to see? The Light Between Oceans. What’s your Monday mantra? Just say yes and figure it out later.

What did you do for Miss FQ

magazine? Modelled in the gorgeous beauty shoot, alongside Jamie Stanton (page 100). Ultimate life hack? Drinking water! Water, in my eyes, can literally solve everything. Hydration is key to looking and feeling amazing 24/7. Can’t-livewithout-it beauty product?

Mascara. Underdressed or overdressed? Overdressed. What advice do you have for girls who want to feel more confident in front of the

camera? Self-love and security in you is the most important thing. That’s the reason why I can be so comfortable in front of the camera. It all comes from within, and how you feel about yourself. Person you look up to in the industry? My friend Eden Bristowe has been a huge inspiration!
