Having been an ENZED hose and hydraulics shop for more than 30 years, it was a natural progression seven years ago, for ENZED South Auckland to expand into a nationwide supplier of performance plumbing.

“We were making more and more fuel, oil and brake hoses for race cars,” said manager Roger McGarry, “so we recruited a couple of specialist staff, took on the New Zealand distribution of Fragola Performance Products, and so began FPP Speedshop”.

Now the line-up covers not just hoses for fuel, oil and water, but a massive range of performance-related products.

Mainly representing well known American brands in New Zealand, FPP Speedshop stocks a huge range of FK Rod Ends and spherical bearings, Aeromotive and Fuelab pumps filters and regulators, and Derale oil cooling products.

Speedshop manager David Keogan said one of their most successful ranges is Quickcar. “Their range is so diverse; it is hard to pigeonhole them in one area. From gauges, to brake ducting and lots in between!” FPP is also stocking the range of radius rods and setup gear, as well as a huge variety of switch panels.

formance Products continue to add new race hose products and fittings to its already large line-up. All aluminium parts are made in Fragola’s Connecticut factory. FPP Speedshop is stocking the new lightweight nylon race hose and a huge range of sizes and end styles for the Teflon lined stainless steel hose, with an even lighter weight hose in the pipeline.

The most recent additions to the product line-up are Lucas oils and additives, and a range of aluminium tanks. These quality tanks are robotically TIG welded, and come in either polished or black anodised finish. The range includes surge tanks, breather tanks, power steering reservoirs and brake vacuum tanks.

FPP Speedshop products are sold by distributors from Whangarei to Invercargill, as well as via its shop in Manukau, and the website. Facebook is also used to keep customers informed of specials and some of the events and drivers FPP Speedshop supports.
