EWP130 wins ma­jor award

The new Davies Craig EWP130 Elec­tric Wa­ter Pump has won the Spe­cialty Equip­ment Mar­ket As­so­ci­a­tion (SEMA) Global Me­dia Award from Race­car En­gi­neer­ing Mag­a­zine at this year’s SEMA Show in Amer­ica.

Says sales and mar­ket­ing man­ager John Ben­son: “This award is a huge shot in the arm, and a won­der­ful ac­co­lade that will help kick along EWP sales in the USA af­ter­mar­ket; a very ex­cit­ing de­vel­op­ment given we haven’t of­fi­cially launched this brand new EWP130 Elec­tric Wa­ter Pump to the af­ter­mar­ket as yet!

“To achieve any ‘gong’ at the an­nual, high-pro­file SEMA Show is very grat­i­fy­ing. I pre­dict this new EWP130 will be­come the ‘flag­ship’ of our ex­pand­ing Elec­tric Wa­ter Pump range and will ac­cel­er­ate our abil­ity to im­prove trac­tion in a very com­pet­i­tive and chal­leng­ing US au­to­mo­tive af­ter­mar­ket as well as our con­tin­ued ef­forts in the Euro­pean af­ter­mar­ket.”

The SEMA com­mit­tee an­nounced the win­ners of the 2015 5 New Prod­ucts Showcase Awards on the he open­ing morn­ing of the 2014 SEMA EMA Show held an­nu­ally in Las Ve­gas, Ne­vada.

Awards are given to thehe most in­no­va­tive and cut­ting-edge edge au­to­mo­tive af­ter­mar­ket prod­ucts. Nearly 2,000 prod­ucts were en­tered at this year’s New Prod­uct uct Awards. Win­ners are se­lected basedased on a va­ri­ety of fac­tors that in­clud­ed­ncluded qual­ity, mar­ketabil­ity, in­no­va­tion,n, tech­nol­ogy, con­sumer ap­peal, and more.
