The Wise Guy
You might well guess the Wise Guy in this story is the chef and owner of the Auckland restaurant at the centre of a major news story when he blasted an idiot customer who had complained on his website that the chicken was too salty.
The now very well-known restaurant is now mostly packed out with customers who appreciate fine food and write rave reviews.
Apparently all the news items in print and on TV wouldn’t have occurred if the idiot customer had only read the fine print on the menu to learn the chicken was cooked in brine before he or she ordered it. Congratulations chef, you are the supreme marketing guy of the month.
