You might well guess the Wise Guy in this story is the chef and owner of the Auck­land restau­rant at the cen­tre of a ma­jor news story when he blasted an id­iot cus­tomer who had com­plained on his web­site that the chicken was too salty.

The now very well-known restau­rant is now mostly packed out with cus­tomers who ap­pre­ci­ate fine food and write rave re­views.

Ap­par­ently all the news items in print and on TV wouldn’t have oc­curred if the id­iot cus­tomer had only read the fine print on the menu to learn the chicken was cooked in brine be­fore he or she or­dered it. Con­grat­u­la­tions chef, you are the supreme mar­ket­ing guy of the month.
