Alemlube keeps you comfortable

The vast majority of all vehicles manufactured today come with air conditioning and climate control systems as standard.

Many drivers experience the benefits of aircon in their vehicle on a hot day, defrosting windows on a cold day and the comfort of climate control. And, just like other parts and systems in the vehicle’s operation, the air-conditioning system also needs regular attention to ensure it continues to work efficiently and effectively.

It has been found that up to 10 percent of aircon gas permeates from the vehicle’s aircon system every year, which means that it may not work as well as it should. This is why car manufacturers recommend that the air-con system is recharged with gas and lubricant every two years. As we know, this service is not part of a routine vehicle servicing, so if the vehicle is more than two years old it’s probably due for an aircon recharge.

Throughout New Zealand and Australia, Alemlube Automotive, a division of Alemlube, has built a reputation for excellence in distribution, sales and the total support of all automotive workshop servicing products.

A very distinct and unique advantage of purchasing automotive air conditioning service units from Alemlube is the countrywide installation, service and support network, coupled to industry experienced people.

Three air conditioning rechargers available from Alemlube, the M-1000, M-1500 and M-2000 provide cutting edge technology and efficiency when it comes to recovery, recycling, evacuating and recharging of R134A refrigerant. Operating at pressures of up to 363psi (25bar) the M-1000 and M-1500 produce flow rates of 72 L/min and the M-2000 up to 142 L/min. Low noise operation and at temperatures ranging from +10deg.C to +50deg.C ensure reliable performance.

The three units available from Alemlube make the recharge process quite simple which involves recovering the old refrigerant gas from the aircon system and recycling it before replacing this with the correct amount of new refrigerant and lubricant as per the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation.

A vacuum test is also performed to ensure there are no cracks or damage in the customer’s vehicle air conditioning system that could cause the gas to leak out.

Within 20 minutes the whole recharge process is completed resulting in once again having refreshing cool air on demand.

Aircon systems that are not recharged regularly will be less effective and have to work harder to produce cool air. This puts more strain on the engine and uses more fuel and reduces efficiency.

Contact Alemlube now for more information on how the M-2000, M-15000 and M-1000 air conditioning rechargers can improve your workshop servicing productivity.
