OEX aircon training
Ashdown-Ingram’s OEX thermal control products are not only considered a leading Australasian automotive air-conditioning range, their world class industry training is helping more specialists prepare for changes in the industry.
September saw the completion of the latest round of OEX automotive air conditioning training seminars in Mt Wellington and Christchurch.
This annual event, organised by Ashdown-Ingram, and conducted by Grant Hand, has been running for many years in New Zealand. The event is recognised as the premier training event by the industry, and September was no exception.
Grant Hand is renowned in the Australasian automotive air industry as the trainer of choice, with many specialists having attended his training seminars either in New Zealand or in Australia.
Paul Findlater from Ashdown-Ingram is very proud of OEX’s association with Grant. “He has the knack to be able to train the groups in an entertaining way; the comments I get from the attendees after the training are always very positive,” said Paul.
“Every year we strive to improve the training by working with Grant to ensure all of the new technology and products are covered.
“It is important we also make sure we use venues that have all of the facilities required to make the training as effective as possible.”
Anyone can buy and sell servicing equipment, but Ashdown-Ingram and OEX strongly believe it is important to make sure specialists have access to the right advice, as well as an equipment package that is tailored to their requirements.
Initial and ongoing support and training is just as important as finding the right product, which is why Ashdown-Ingram and OEX work in collaboration to provide as much support as possible. The training seminars with Grant Hand form just one part of the support on offer.
Ashdown-Ingram have several purpose built, fully functional training simulators. These not only give practical demonstrations of how various systems work but can be set to simulate system faults for diagnostic training.
The training seminars are endorsed by MTA, VASA and Capricorn Society. Ashdown-Ingram would also like to thank Denso and Sanden for their ongoing support for these training seminars.
