Mud House Single Vineyard Wines

My Wedding - - DRINKS -

Created exclusively for the Mud House Single Vineyard range, the inspired new wine releases include the 2011 Mud House Taggart Vineyard Pinot Gris ($30-32), 2011 Mud House Hungry Hill Vineyard Chardonnay ($33-35) and the 2011 Mud House Neal Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc ($30-32).

An unctuous and complex wine, the 2011 Mud House Taggart Vineyard Pinot Gris, offers generous notes of apricot and nectarine that preside over beautifully subtle floral and marzipan aromas. Paired with fish such as Terakihi or Snapper, it’s a perfectly weighted wine ideal for summertime.

2011 Mud House Hungry Hill Vineyard Chardonnay, with its straw yellow hue and lifted notes of citrus and white fleshed peach with sweet spicy oak is an ideal partner for a juicy roast fillet of pork. The wine is characterised by a full but refined palate, boasting flavours of fresh citrus blossom with toasty brioche flavours to finish.

With its pale straw colour and intense aromas of nettles, jalapeño peppers and grapefruit pith, the 2011 Mud House Neal Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, presents fresh yet bold flavours and a pure fruit sweetness that combines perfectly with a ripe, crisp acidity. The perfect match for a hearty seafood laksa.
