Cut glass tealights were placed along ledges and on tables. Centrepieces by Flowers by Karen in Hamilton (www.weddingflowersbykaren.co.nz) featured watermelon roses, gypsophilia and hydrangeas. Murray Giblin, a singer, pianist and entertainer was a highlight. The favours were Anemone bulbs to plant accompanied by a note that read: “watch our love grow”. They incorporated doilies from www.littleink.co.nz into handmade stationery. Guests were served
a plated meal, choosing their options when RSVPing. The bride wore her mother’s eternity ring as her “something borrowed”.
