Rich and re­fresh­ing, this mar­garita is dis­tinct thanks to the magic of the Scotch liqueur, Dram­bui. To main­tain the rich­ness, don’t just use any old or­ange liqueur and don’t set­tle on cheap, and of­ten nasty, tequila.


1/2 oz Dram­buie 2 oz re­posada Tequila such as El Ji­mador 1/2 oz Coin­treau Juice of 1 lime Lime wedge for gar­nish Salt for the rim (op­tional)

Pour liq­uid in­gre­di­ents into a cock­tail shaker half-filled with ice cubes and shake well. Pour into your salt-rimmed glass, gar­nish with the lime wedge and serve.
