LITTLE EXTRAS

The couple chose their own vows with help from their celebrant. A good friend read a poem to break up the ceremony.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT

Walking down the aisle! We had practiced to the timing of the song at rehearsal and were so pleased that I worked it out spot on! And, of course, seeing my husband-to-be, waiting for me at the bottom of the steps in the rotunda! But there are many moments throughout the day that were just as memorable like the speeches and our first dance (which we had lessons for).

SPECIAL MENTION

It was an emotional day not having my brother there, who sadly passed away 4 years ago. However, I was able to include his children - my niece as my flower girl and my nephew as ring bearer. There were also two grandparents who had passed on that could not be with us. I was also grateful to three of my friends who could do set up for me in terms of decorating dance room, setting menus, favour boxes and table names on tables, organising seating based on seating plan, putting petal cones out, guestbook and wedding chest. I was very fortunate to have huge help from my mother, who loved every moment of the process! We are happy to be husband and wife now after 9.5 years, and we are looking forward to what the future holds for us!
