Drug researchers for the United States Government are advertising for a cannabis dealer with ‘‘extensive experience’’ to supply them with joints for tests. For decades, scientists have lamented the difficulty of obtaining a steady supply of the drug, but now the National Institutes of Health wants to hire a dope peddler following a relaxation of restrictions on cannabis research. Applicants will be required to produce joints of ‘‘varying strengths and specifications’’.
