Draining workload forces teacher move

Matthew Beech: Good for this lady to take this action. I think some of us were under the impression that teachers were trained and hired to teach, rather than be swamped with the deluge of nonsensical PC stuff being put together by intellectuals and academics who don’t understand what childhood is all about!

The Reality: My daughter has just completed her first year of teaching degree, she has decided its not worth the money and the stress and found her placements were negative.

Belladonna Took: I am sorry that it has come to strike action, but not surprised. I have volunteered in schools for that last 15 years and have seen the stress levels rising. Knowing teachers, I know this action would not be taken lightly.
