A bou­quet to our city’s parks and re­serves depart­ment for the stun­ning dis­plays of an­nu­als in our pub­lic gar­dens over the win­ter and spring pe­riod.

The plant­ings, fea­tur­ing the bright colours of pop­pies, cal­en­dula and vi­o­las, were a real tonic dur­ing the cold months, and con­tin­ued to flower dur­ing spring as well.

An­other note­wor­thy dis­play was the daf­fodil field sur­round­ing the Moller Foun­tain. Our thanks to Auck­land Point School for their con­tri­bu­tion of large ar­ti­fi­cial daf­fodils to this plant­ing.
