Ilove a winter roast and I don’t think there’s anything better than getting some friends together to share in a spit roast meal. Well maybe one thing – Viva La Vaca cooking their beautiful Argentinia­n-style slow-cooked meats and other dishes (including vegetarian options) for a group of friends at Tasteology @ Winelord.

To help you while away winter nights these two businesses have joined forces. To encourage the concept of friends sharing a meal to help raise your spirits during winter you can book exclusive use of the winery cellar door facility for a group of 20 or more people to enjoy a mid-winter dinner prepared and served by the good folk from Viva La Vaca.

Winelord is in Livingston Rd, Brightwate­r (between the Brightwate­r village and Waimea West Rd), home to Middle Earth Wines, Brightwate­r Gravels wines and Capital Cider. The cellar door is operated by Tasteology, a business owned by Cam Woods and Maria Gonzalez.
