West Brook Winery

New Zealand Classic Car - - Summer Wine Guide -

A25-minute drive West of Auckland will reveal a valley where the landscape, soil, sun, and rain combine magically to produce exceptional conditions, perfect for growing grapes. Wine makers from around the world call the complete natural environment in which wine is produced ‘terroir’, although West Brook Winery privately has a different name for it — ‘Wai-magical’. They also share a love for classic cars, many of which have visited West Brook Winery over the years to enjoy the touch of their classics — wine, that is — for the family has been making wine since 1935, and has crafted many a classic over that time.

The West Brook team is a close and happy one, passionate about making great wine, and they firmly believe their harmony and friendship genuinely contribute to the flavour and successful outcome of the wine.

West Brook’s vineyard is nestled in a unique microclimate growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Malbec. The drive out is scenic and relaxing and, on arrival, they would like to give you a memorable time enjoying their varietals at the cellar door. Take a drive out and taste their passion, as it’s in every bottle they sell.
