March 13–15: NZ Ley­land P76 Club’s Any­thing but Av­er­age Na­tional Rally and AGM. Based around the Clas­sics Mu­seum at 11 Rail­side Place, Hamil­ton, there’ll be many of the finest P76s in New Zealand, and maybe even our only Force 7V coupé in at­ten­dance. Cars should be avail­able for public view­ing at the Clas­sics Mu­seum from around 3:30pm on Satur­day, March 14, or will be seen cruis­ing about the lo­cal­ity as we check out the lo­cal at­trac­tions. March 22: 13th An­nual North Can­ter­bury Clas­sic Tour. Tour starts at Hi-tech Build­ing Sys­tems (next to Ste­warts Clas­sic Car Col­lec­tion), 656 Wairaki Rd, Rus­s­ley, Christchurch at 9.30am. Reg­is­ter from 9am–10am, $15. All clas­sic ve­hi­cles wel­come — cars, vans, utes, trucks, campers, and mo­tor­cy­cles. Any age, body style, type, or con­di­tion, there were 187 clas­sics last year. April 3– 6: Austin-healey Car Club of New Zealand Monaco Rally, Nel­son. The Austin-healey Car Club of NZ holds its bi­en­nial rally in Nel­son over Easter week­end, and in­cludes guests and their ve­hi­cles from Australia and the USA. In­for­ma­tion on or find us on Face­book: austin­healeynz. April 3– 6: Clas­sic Fighters 2015, Omaka Aero­drome. This year’s theme is AN­ZAC, and we re­quire ve­hi­cles for dis­play in­clud­ing those as­so­ci­ated with Australia/ New Zealand, e.g. Ford, Holden, Chrysler, BMC, VW, Bol­well, Mclaren, Trekka. In re­turn you get two passes for three days (we re­quire the ve­hi­cle for at least two days). You must reg­is­ter with Pa­trick Pascoe at p.pascoe@, as passes will be emailed out. Reg­is­ter early, ac­com­mo­da­tion is limited dur­ing the event.

April 10–13: An­nual As­so­ci­a­tion of Rover Car Clubs Na­tional Rally, Copthorne Sol­way Park, Master­ton. Hosted by the Rover Car Club of Welling­ton, up to 100 Rover and Land Rover ve­hi­cles at­tend the na­tional rally each year. There are a range of ac­tiv­i­ties planned for 2015, in­clud­ing vis­it­ing a num­ber of the Wairarapa’s best at­trac­tions. April 18–19: Au­tumn Colours Out­ing 2015, Otago. Its 13th year run­ning, and as nor­mal start­ing in Dunedin. Make a week­end of it in Otago. This trip will take in North­ern South­land en route to Ar­row­town. A very en­joy­able and re­lax­ing event, just ask any­one who has been be­fore. A won­der­ful chance to get out and take in those beau­ti­ful Otago au­tumn colours. Jan­uary 15–24, 2016: Vero In­ter­na­tional Fes­ti­val of His­toric Mo­tor­ing. Sched­uled to take place in Dunedin, this event will be the 10th In­ter­na­tional Rally held by the Vin­tage Car Club of New Zealand Inc. The fes­ti­val has evolved over the years, and there are now sig­nif­i­cant num­bers of vin­tage mo­tor­cy­cles in­volved as well as vin­tage, vet­eran and clas­sic cars.
