supplied by the publisher a contemporary version of that iconic car appeared. Morgan’s development cost was reputed to be a mere £ 200,000.

Dron’s rather excellent book covers this story in more detail, including all the development stages overcome on the path to reviving Morgan’s automotive icon, and how the resulting car wowed the crowds at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011. The book rounds up with a look at the new threewheeler’s further development — including a bit of crystal gazing concerning a Caterham three-wheeler, or perhaps a Morganbadged version of the Volkswagen GX3. The sky, it seems, is the limit when you’ve only got three wheels on your wagon!
