Starting with an original 1965 AC Cobra chassis and, believe it or not, the original 427 side-oiler engine, Simon Tippins from Creative Metalworks had a rather formidable task on his hands. As the body had long gone, Simon began to scale some photographs, then construct a wire buck before taking to his English wheeling machine to start shaping the new alloy body. The car was also converted to right-hand drive, and, once the body was complete, it was meticulously polished to perfection. The car is now drivable and is in the final stages of assembly.
Keep an eye out for a full feature soon.
