Meguiar’s announces Ultimate Shine 2016 winner
The results are in, and Meguiar’s has announced its winner of this year’s Ultimate Shine Competition — Warren and Angela Sara’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
The competition’s objective was to showcase a Meguiar’s ‘ultimate shine’, with photographs highlighting the car’s shine and reflection — the type of car doesn’t matter.
“The Bel Air has a stunning body shape, and the photography captures the reflections of the surrounding environment beautifully. It really shows the depth of colour and wet-look shine, combining to give the best representation of what Meguiar’s is all about,” a Meguiar’s spokesperson said of Warren and Angela’s ’57, which took home the top prize of $600 cash and a $500 Meguiar’s product pack.
Runners-up were Ken Myers and his beautifully finished ’ 72 Holden Torana, Nick Thurston’s 2012 Ford Falcon XR6, and Akshay Shah’s black Mazda, with each owner receiving a $500 prize pack, including $250 cash and a selection of Meguiar’s products. A great result, and an excellent showcase for just how much care Kiwis put into the finish of our cars!
