ACE Panel and Paint provides high-quality car restoration to the whole Coromandel Peninsula and beyond. The company prides itself on the quality of workmanship, details, and focus it puts into each restoration project it works on — ACE Panel and Paint wants every restoration project to be as close to perfection as possible when it leaves the shop.
Owner Bruce Haye has been in the panel and paint business for some 30 years — the first 10 years concentrating on smash repairs, then moving onto the far more rewarding restoration side of the business.
Fabricating hard-to-find panels is one of ACE’S specialities. It is currently fabricating Series 1 Land Rover firewalls and bespoke parts for ’35 Ford coupés for resale to other shops, such is the quality of its work.
Ace’s tight team of four includes a fulltime mechanic and auto electrician, to ensure all your needs are met.
Bruce and his team can do ground-up restorations, metal finish and lead repairs, as well as all chassis fabrications and engine transplants.
