An­other burst from Blighty re­gard­ing the fea­tured E-type in the April is­sue.

Back in 1971 I pur­chased a ’62 Jaguar E-type Road­ster — 881DXF — in opales­cent (as then called) dark blue with a light gray in­te­rior. The car was even­tu­ally shipped from London to Auck­land, and in 1988 was taken over by its new owner in Taupo.
