European style at a fresh new price.
Renault meets the market as it bring the Captur Phase II to New Zealand, with a hard to resist price slash bringing European style into reach for the motorists keen on a small SUV. The aggressive pricing strategy will turn the heads of many in the market for a small, practical, lifestyle-friendly SUV but it is not the only attractive feature of the new small Renault. In addition to cutting the price from $35,990 to $29,990 RRP, Renault makes more than 100 detail and spec changes to create the 2018 Captur Phase II. Captur follows the trend in vehicles this size with an 1197 cc turbo engine which makes 88 kw at 4900 rpm and 190 kw at a low 2000 rpm – figures which are stoplight-friendly and will work well for real-world overtaking, helped by the vehicle’s relatively low kerb weight of 1200 kg.
