BOSS Air Suspension’s ‘purpose’ in business is to make available high quality, safe and affordable aftermarket air suspension products. “We believe that life is sacred and we want to do our bit to make sure vehicles that carry loads perform in the same safe way they did at the point of manufacture. When it comes to carrying loads and stabilising vehicles we have the ability to make it happen.” The airbag suspension kit pictured here gives your vehicle air adjustable rear suspension by using the BOSS airbag and six mm thick brackets, thus enabling vehicles to carry the load they were intended to. BOSS Load Assist kits are easy to fit and most simply bolt on using basic hand tools. Then when filled with air, they raise the rear end (when under load) to make the vehicle level again. This makes the vehicle safer when loaded by keeping the front wheels in contact with the road, while also eliminating sway and improving cornering (wet or dry). BOSS Extreme Series 2 airbags are the benchmark in Competition Air Suspension Systems Every airbag is designed specifically for New Zealand and Australian conditions and manufactured to specific BOSS specifications in the BOSS factory. There is only one machine in the world that is capable of making bags to BOSS specifications. That’s what it does es all day every day. The BOSS SS Air Bag has “cord angle e weaving” and multistrand strengthening ngthening meaning the he bags can exceed 1000PSI 00PSI hydrostatic pressure. In the most brutal test that can be done, shock pressure testing, they also have a bust pressure of 480 PSI, which is two or three times better than that of other manufacturers. Every bag has a blend of natural rubber, steel cords and ballistic woven reinforcing. The 17 high tensile rings are formed, the rubber and ballistic weave is placed around a mould, then it is subject to high pressure (over 500PSI) curing. The process takes 20 minutes per bag and every bag is allowed to cool naturally. Airbags are the heart of Air Suspension systems and there is no room for compromise. If other manufacturers don’t share this level of detail you would have to ask the question, why not? At BOSS, safety is paramount.
