If three days of being outdoors, staying in luxury accommodation, and enhancing your nature-photography skills with professional photographer Simon Woolf sounds like a bit of you, make sure you book your spot for the September 15–17 Natural Environment Photography Retreat at the Bay of Many Coves Resort.

Suitable for both experienced and novice photographers, the retreat will see attendees use the Marlborough Sounds water-taxi service, from which they will have a great platform to capture a variety of images showcasing the seabirds, seals, and dolphins of the area. Attendees will also be taken on a guided expedition through the historic Ship Cove to Motuara Island, which is an uninhabited, predator-free reserve, where they’ll be able to see many beautiful native birds and practice their photography skills while capturing great photographs of them for their portfolios — or for framing and hanging on the wall at home.

A fellow of the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ), Woolf has plenty of photographic knowledge to impart, and you are destined to come away with an arsenal of essential photographic knowledge to apply to your future photography endeavours.
