It’s compact in size and light in weight — Sony’s A6500 mirrorless camera gives DSLRs a run for their money. It allows lenses to be interchanged, and has a built-in viewfinder and manual controls, so you can get as creative as you could imagine. The A6500’s fast hybrid autofocus system combines the strengths of both phaseand contrast-detection autofocus. With 425 phase detection points (covering almost the entire image), and a high-speed contrast-detection function, you’re able to shoot at an impressive 11fps, but you can also get highly accurate movement tracking for both stills and video. You can see the Sony A6500 in action at youtube.com/imagingbysony.

Sony’s A6500 has an RRP of $2399 (body only). To find out more, visit sony.co.nz.
