Fif teen lens el­e­ments in 12 groups are con­fig­ured to pro­duce a sta­ble image with few chro­matic or spher­i­cal aber­ra­tions — help­ing you ef fi­ciently turn out de­tailed im­ages. There’s an RXD step­ping mo­tor for vir­tu­ally noise­less aut­o­fo­cus and a use­ful man­ual fo­cus over­ride, plus a tight min­i­mum fo­cus dis­tance of 0.19m (in wide an­gle). The hous­ing is mois­ture re­sis­tant, and the front el­e­ment is flourine coated to guard against those grubby fin­gers.
