Right from its release of the 28–200mm back in ’92, Tamron has been at the forefront of compact, high-ratio zoom-lens technology. The 17–35mm f/2.8-4 DI OSD is an ultra-wide angle zoom lens that is the lightest and smallest in its class, with a front element coated in flourine to repel dirt, fingerprints, and moisture. A master at wide angle focal lengths, the lens still has a bright maximum aperture to excel in low-light conditions. It hosts 15 lens elements in 10 groups, especially coated to reduce reflections, flares, and ghosting.
