STRAYLINING

Stray­line rigs The ba­sic rig has a short trace with the sinker hard against the hook. It is used mainly for cast­ing baits (some­times with no sinker) into a berley trail on a reef. It can also be used in deeper wa­ter.

UNI KNOT

thread trace through hook and make a loop

make 5 or 6 turns around both strands

start to tighten
