This hard-back book writ­ten by two Auck­land-based aca­demics and a chef is a work of art. The im­ages by Scot­tie T Pho­tog­ra­phy are to die for. Hav­ing the renown tele­vi­sion chef Pete Evans write the For­ward was a coo.

Food is an evolv­ing, yet im­por­tant, part of ev­ery day liv­ing and the tide is al­ways turn­ing as to what we should be eating and not eating. The un­der­ly­ing thread through­out this book is that eating more fat and re­duc­ing car­bo­hy­drate is the way to go. The fat, how­ever, needs to be “healthy” fat. Can’t wait to try out the yummy recipes.
