Mitsubishi NZ appoints new CEO
MITSUBISHI MOTORS NEW Zealand (MMNZ) has appointed current chief operating officer Warren Brown as CEO and president.
He replaces Tomoki Yanagawa who returns to Tokyo to become general manager of Mitsubishi’s America and Oceania Division.
Brown has been with Mitsubishi NZ for 22 years. He started as marketing coordinator in 1987, and progressed to senior marketing coordinator, business development manager, and national fleet sales manager.
He then became national sales manager, general manager of sales and marketing, company director and chief operating officer.
Yanagawa, who oversaw a continuation of sustained growth during his tenure, says he has “the utmost confidence in my successor’s capability and vision in securing the continued success of Mitsubishi in New Zealand.
