Late-night snack­ers be­ware – you not only risk de­vel­op­ing di­ges­tive prob­lems such as heart­burn but also have an in­creased dan­ger of skin dam­age and skin can­cer. A study pub­lished in Cell Re­ports found that mice fed at ab­nor­mal times of the day suf­fered a dis­rup­tion to their skin’s bi­o­log­i­cal clock, mak­ing them more vul­ner­a­ble to ul­tra­vi­o­let B light.
