Mission Gimblett Gravels Barrique Reserve Cabernet/Merlot 2015
Priced right, this classy, 2:1 blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot was barrel-aged for 18 months. Dark and fragrant, it is full-bodied (13.8% alc/vol) and firm, with rich blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours. A finely structured, complex red, it’s well worth cellaring. $29
