The best place in the world to live…

New Plymouth was judged ‘best small city in the world’ in the Liveable Communities Award and ‘best place in New Zealand to live, work and love’ by North & South magazine.

… catch a wave…

Taranaki’s Surf Highway 45 – from Hawera to New Plymouth – offers countless iconic surf breaks and even more potential for legendary adventures.

… or a major event.

Taranaki is the home of epic events, like the amazing annual WOMAD festival, 14-16 March.

It’s easy to live here.

The coolest thing about living here is that it’s really hard to avoid a great work/life balance. Spend time in the water and not in a traffic jam – if you live more than 10 minutes drive from work you’re probably living in the country.
