Linfox adds Kenworths
A DOZEN NEW KENWORTHS ARE adding a new look to Linfox’s New Zealand operation.
It’s the rst time in going on 20 years that Kenworths have been seen here in the colours of the giant Australian-owned Linfox operation.
at makes it unusual enough to warrant a photo opportunity in Melbourne – with key Kenworth and Linfox execs. Pictured, from left, at the hand-over of the keys at the Kenworth factory in Bayswater, are: Kenworth Australia director of sales and marketing Brad May, Linfox exec Ray Gamble, Kenworth Australia MD Andrew Hadjikakou, Linfox executive chairman Peter Fox and Southpac Trucks chief executive Maarten Durent.
Durent is understandably happy to see Kenworth back in one of the best-known and iconic eets in NZ and says: “Linfox are great people to work with. We already service their trailers and this expands on an already great relationship we have with them.
“It’s important because it diversi es our vehicle sales across a wider group of customers. And it’s great for our service operation in Auckland, where most of these trucks are based.”
