Luckily my older sister got married a year before me, so was well versed on planning a wedding. She knew exactly what I’d like, so the whole process was really easy – I just had to look at what she’d handpicked. My advice for brides-to-be would be to not sweat the small stuff. I hated the carpet of our venue, but on the night I didn’t notice it at all. It’s the atmosphere you create that makes a wedding memorable.
