My favourite book ever is...

Harper Lee’s ToKilla Mockingbird. My other favourite is John Berendt’s Midnight in the Garden of GoodandEvil set in Savannah, Georgia. I was so taken with this book, I visited the area and met some of the people featured in it.

My book of the moment is…

A Road Tour of American Song Titles: From Mendoci no to Memphis by Karl du Fresne. He toured places in the US made famous by hit records. We did a similar family trip and it was great to get Karl’s opinions on many of the places we visited. I really enjoyed it.
