As an adult, it is time to get rid of any unhealthy habits you may have developed as a teen. If you started smoking, now is the time to quit.
Work out how to fit exercise into your daily routine. Once you’re working full-time, that may seem tricky, but it is important to try to do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day.
Get screened for
STDs. If left untreated, they can often lead to serious problems, such as infertility.
Start having cervical smears, which can pick up abnormal cell changes before they become cancerous.
Check out your contraception options. While the Pill is easy and convenient, it doesn’t suit everyone, especially women who are prone to high blood pressure. You may need to investigate other choices, such as Depo Provera or Mirena.
