As an adult, it is time to get rid of any unhealthy habits you may have developed as a teen. If you started smoking, now is the time to quit.

Work out how to fit exercise into your daily routine. Once you’re working full-time, that may seem tricky, but it is important to try to do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day.

Get screened for

STDs. If left untreated, they can often lead to serious problems, such as infertilit­y.

Start having cervical smears, which can pick up abnormal cell changes before they become cancerous.

Check out your contracept­ion options. While the Pill is easy and convenient, it doesn’t suit everyone, especially women who are prone to high blood pressure. You may need to investigat­e other choices, such as Depo Provera or Mirena.
