Birthday BLESSINGS

ON JUNE 10, THE PRINCE TURNS THE RIPE OLD AGE OF 97!

New Zealand Woman’s Weekly - - STAR NEWS -

Agallant, handsome and mischievous man, Prince Philip can always be guaranteed to leave an impact wherever he goes thanks to his famous and often un-politically correct wit.

But it’s his role as right-hand man to the Queen (92) that truly shows his dedication to the monarchy and his wife. As the Duke of Edinburgh reaches his late nineties, it’s fair to say he’s been knocked back a few times

thanks to illness and old age, but he refuses to let it keep him down for long!

Which makes his 97th birthday all the more remarkable. Prince Philip surprised royal watchers when, only weeks after hip surgery, he attended the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. What’s even more incredible was the fact he walked into the church and sat for the ceremony with a cracked rib after a fall only days before!

Here’s hoping the pain had eased for the duke so he could celebrate the day style. Happy birthday!
