Richard Gere weds his pretty woman in New York

Her role in the smash hit se­ries Big Lit­tle Lies has al­lowed her to speak out on im­por­tant is­sues, in­clud­ing do­mes­tic vi­o­lence. Now Ni­cole Kid­man (50) is shar­ing her ex­pe­ri­ence with mis­car­riage.

The Aus­tralian ac­tress suf­fered an ec­topic preg­nancy in 1990 when she was 23, then a mis­car­riage in 2001 when she was mar­ried to Tom Cruise. “There’s a huge, aching yearn­ing,” she tells. “And the loss! The loss of a mis­car­riage is not talked about enough. That’s a mas­sive grief to women.”

How­ever, Ni­cole was very de­ter­mined to be­come a mum, adopt­ing two chil­dren with Tom, Is­abella (25) and Con­nor (23). Af­ter divorc­ing the Top Gun star in 2011, she mar­ried Keith Ur­ban (50) in 2006. The cou­ple have two daugh­ters, Sun­day Rose (9) and Faith Mar­garet (7), and Ni­cole has said, given that her grand­mother gave birth at the age of 49, she and Keith “would love to have more ba­bies”!
