SAVING MONARCH CATERPILLARS FROM WASPS

New Zealand Woman’s Weekly - - GREENGODDESS -

Last year, I had a big swan plant covered in monarch caterpillars, but I later found them destroyed by wasps. This year, I covered the plant in netting and secured it tightly at the base after seeing many monarch butterflies lay their eggs. Now when I peer inside there are lots of little caterpillars happily chewing away, undisturbed, until they are ready to turn into chrysalises.
